About the person:
Since February 2023, I have been working as a consultant for climate protection, energy, and the environment at the Baden-Württemberg Association of Cities and Towns. In addition to representing the interests of our member cities and towns vis-à-vis the state, federal, and EU governments, we offer them events and exchange formats on current topics such as the implementation of heat planning, climate adaptation, and digital tools for climate protection. As a trained environmental protection engineer, the sustainable development of municipalities is a topic close to my heart.
It is very important to us to support local authorities as architects of the transition to climate neutrality and to offer them opportunities to remain in control of their own actions. The KommMa project addresses precisely this issue and can strengthen this scope for action at the local level by combining scientific findings with feedback from municipal practice.
